This 6-day Uzbekistan tour combines the country’s rich Silk Road heritage with the natural beauty of the Tian Shan mountains and the legendary landscapes of Tajikistan’s Seven Lakes. It is an ideal journey for travelers who want to experience both culture and nature in a short yet immersive itinerary. Your journey begins in Tashkent, the modern capital of Uzbekistan. After arriving, you will enjoy a short walking tour through the city followed by a traditional welcome dinner where you can taste authentic Uzbek cuisine. On the second day, travel to the beautiful Chimgan Mountains and Amirsoy resort area, located in the western Tian Shan range. Here you will enjoy breathtaking mountain scenery, ride the Amirsoy cable car, and experience horseback riding in the Chimgan valley. After lunch in the mountains, you will return to Tashkent and take a high-speed train to Samarkand, one of the most legendary cities of the Silk Road. Samarkand will captivate you with its magnificent architecture and rich history. During the guided city tour you will visit iconic landmarks such as Registan Square, Shah-i-Zinda Necropolis, and Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum, learning about the legacy of Amir Timur and the importance of Samarkand in world history. One of the most unique experiences of the tour is a day trip to the breathtaking Seven Lakes in Tajikistan’s Fann Mountains. Each lake has its own color and character, surrounded by dramatic mountain landscapes. The journey includes scenic stops, light hiking, and a picnic lunch near the lakes. On the final full day, travel back to Tashkent by car through Uzbekistan’s countryside. After arrival, enjoy a half-day city tour and finish the trip with a festive gala dinner celebrating the end of your Silk Road adventure.
